I’ve decided in 2022 I am going with the word Intention in place of Resolution. With resolutions, there is an outcome tied to it and if it doesn’t happen we beat ourselves up. A resolution is like a goal ‒ for example, someone might state that they want to lose weight or get a new job. Resolutions are a firm decision to do or not to do something. They’re strict, with no wiggle room. You either stick to them or fail, which is why most of our resolutions are distant memories by February.
An intention is a practice that requires us to be present rather than stuck in the past or too focused on the future. It’s something you aim for, an idea or concept you mean to carry out or embody. Intentions are open-ended and relatively vague, allowing more room and grace for growth.

Whole fruits + vegetables, superfoods, and zero fake ingredients make for a one-step breakfast with minimal effort. Just add 1/2 cup of your preferred milk (or water) and contents of the package, microwave, or keep in the fridge overnight for overnight oats. Sometimes I add a little PB to them too! My faves are Cherry & Dark Chocolate + Blueberry & Lemon + Cinnamon & Banana.
Daily Harvest” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Harvest Bowls: These are so delish! The variety of veggies they use amazes me – I am forced to try new ones that I wouldn’t of on my own. To make, just add 2 tablespoons of water or broth and microwave on HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes stirring halfway. Some of my go-to’s are the Broccoli + Cheeze, Beet + Wild Rice, Cauliflower Rice & Pesto + Sweet Potato & Wild Hash.
