I heard this while listening to my @nutritionschoo I heard this while listening to my @nutritionschool course & it really resonated with me. Seems simple enough, right? I know our lives are busy & the drive thru is easy & even cheaper than cooking at home sometimes. 
....but....(u knew a but was coming!😂)
What if you just picked up a rotisserie chicken, a bag of frozen veggies & an avocado (get those good fats in) 
That’s mindful eating. 
Its also cost effective 😉

Not saying ban the drive thru forever - we all need it sometimes 🙋🏻‍♀️ just incorporate more ‘mindful’ options along the way. Baby steps...you got this! 🙌🏻

Chocolate Protein Bites!
2 cups GF oats
1/2 cup pitted dates (I like to cut them into pieces - easier to blend)
1/2 cup flax seeds
1/4 cup nut butter of choice
1/4 cup cacao powder
1 scoop protein powder of choice (I used @amazinggrass plant chocolate protein)
Sprinkle cinnamon 
Sprinkle sea salt
3/4 cup water 
1/4 cup chocolate chips (more if you want!)

Add all ingredients (except chocolate) to a food processor & blend until a flour like consistency. Slowly add in water until a dough like mixture forms. Mix in chocolate chips 
I transfer to a bowl & put in the fridge to harden for about an hour. Then roll into bite size balls. Store in fridge or freezer - enjoy! 😋

Honestly you don’t need a NEW you. Instead of jumping on the next diet trend start with just a few changes to your daily food choices. Try out some of the real food choices & start to crowd out the avoid options. Nothing drastic, try 1 or 2 at a time & see how you feel.

Maybe one night try to cook from home. Grilled salmon, baked potato & steamed broccoli is a great start. When it to comes to foods to avoid (crowd out)- do it gradually. Swap white flour pasta for whole wheat or the many veggie options today. I love @ancientnutrition lately! Swap sugary treats for good quality chocolate (I have chocolate everyday!)

While I have been plant based for a long time I was craving my turkey meatloaf that I haven’t made in a minute! Just a few ingredients & it comes out moist (yes I said it 😂) & delish! Pair it with potatoes (any way you like) & a veggie - dinner is done!

I have made these into meatloaf cupcakes before too - great way to freeze an extra batch to have on hand 👍🏻
